I call it the Ponzi Scheme of the Regional Airlines. ( Instead of money they are using pilots for the Scheme.)

Can someone tell me if the CQFO's that are on reserve right now (on the IAD captain reserve list) making captain guarantee or are they making the blended rate guarantee. If you are on the captain reserve list as a CQ you should be making full captain pay correct?

Yes, the CQFOs on the CA reserve list are paid CA pay the entire month for everything. Next month on the FO list, they will be paid the blended rate except for the time in the left seat.

It changes from month to month depending on staffing.

Does anyone have any word on the (actual) mins for CQFO? Details would be great as I've read a number of different things that are contradicting. Thanks.

just a heads up...the CQFO program is starting to wind down. Most classes have FO's now. there are about 110 CQFO's in the pipeline and about 15 have hit the line.

With the lowering of the upgrade mins, they won't need 200 but around 140.

just an FYI

Oxley said it would be slowing down for a few months while they upgrade guys on property because they don't want to pay bypass pay. But expect it to pick up once again later in the year. Still the same number of CQFOs total because the original number assumed just about everyone on property would upgrade. Probably will be a little less in the end due to upgrade mins being lowered, but could change a lot based on attrition. Ox said attrition numbers have been low so far, but I'll be surprised if it doesn't pick up soon as a lot of guys are interviewing and looking to move up....

again I'm passing on the info that both Chief pilots said to me in the crew room last week.

Doesn't anyone remember when Oxley said that he only wanted 130-140 on the conference call?????
