It sure doesn't seem that way, but given the way things are run here I couldn't presume to understand anything they do.

Yeah I've been hearing much of the same. Expect to start seeing the majority of CQFO's that were hired over the last few months to be giving their notice soon.

A little info. as to the progress of the MOU negotiations would go a long way. I mean there's a few deal breaker issues in there for me and its coming up on my deadline to return to my former job.... Mostly flying right seat to CQFOs that are junior to me! Surely ALPA ain't letting that fly.

I'm just curious. Where are all of you planning on going to? After you put your notice in.

Why, What is happening with the cqfo program? Are the first classes of cqfo's getting screwed and forced to fly as fo's because they lowered the upgrade mins?

You could call your union rep and ask. That's way more productive than complaining online. Also, senior CQFO should be in the left seat. You can call scheduling and correct it.

Why should a FO be allowed to pick up Captain open time?

That's one of the issues but is more of a side point.

-not paying us when we sit CA reserve (and no one in payroll has a clue)

-not being able to bid an CA open time (which is ridiculous because it's based on seniority so we aren't taking it from any other senior CA)(this just happened yesterday and were still trying to find out why, we were told that the Union had no idea bout)
-when we DH or do a training event as a CA we are payed at a blended rate instead of CA rate.

-Using junior CQFO's as CA when the FO is a senior CQFO (this is happening a lot and scheduling is tone deaf to it. (this is probably the most common)

-We were told that when sitting AR1/2 (airport reserve) that we are at a blended rate and when we get used as CA it changes to CA rates for the whole period...that hasn't happened.

and the MOU is suppose to dispel and clarify all of this...
