No body crossed a picket line to fly those AC at G7 so I don't understand what you are crying about!! Its called scope language and your contract lacked it!! So just like today your are getting airplanes tomorrow they can be flown by a current regional or another regional could start up and take them. Get over yourself you fly for TSA its not like its a place to be proud of. Dont forget "No Alter Eagle Jet" you still have plenty of stains at TSA!!!!

That is all....

Got a buddy that was offered 10k signing bonus about 8 months ago. Got to training and they said due to the new contract, they'd get first year pay but not the bonus. Now they're offering a bonus again. I told him to tell them to pay up or quit and go to a "reputable" regional that won't lie (at least about the bonus). Scum bags.

Ya this company has done some things that makes me scratch my head. Last year they cancelled the CQFO and then restarted it. Some in training asked if they could switch into it early in traing. Told no. Stuff like that.

But I laugh at the "reputable" regional part. Were regionals! Only one I can think of that might not be shady. Even then... So again I ask, what makes people think regionals are good? They are all dirt bags. Sure one may be better than the others, but strait sh** and a sh** sandwich is still, well you know.

Dropping a 10k bonus for classes that started after the new contract which gave a raise worth at least 10k is a pretty reasonable thing to do.

Exactly. Your buddy made well over the $10k bonus when they raised first year pay. I don't like bonuses and wish they would stop offering them.

You know, since it's outside the CBA. I'm sure this will be grieved.

C'mon man, what about the "contract" they made with the applicant at the interview? The "reasonable" thing to do would have been to send a letter to the new hires that were caught in lurch explaining the situation and graciously extending the job offer if the applicant still wanted it, under the new circumstances. To announce a new game 1st day of ground school is a flat out shady bait-n-switch.
