4-day trips (3 nights away from domicile) are the vast majority of the flying. Between the 4-days are 2, 3, sometimes 4 days off. You will generally fly 5-ish trips a month, 50% or better seniority is flying 4 x 4-days per month in STL. Top 50% STL has 15 or 16 days/mo off!! You won't get many weekend days until you've been around awhile. Out of your 5 monthly trips, anywhere from zero to 5 of the 10 start/finishes will be commutable. Probably gonna need a crash pad - esp for reserve. But hey, avoid reserve completely and "join now with our delayed entry program" - last time I heard that, I ended up in boot camp.

How do you view all of the same things FLICA had and the same functions?

Lets say that "Joe", a STL domiciled gent, really, really wants STL as a base as new hire FO. What are the current chances that Joe would be awarded STL as a base? And that he could keep it? Joe is thinking that "if I have to commute anyway, maybe another Regional's CJO should be reconsidered"

CA. FO
STL 3/9/15 10/6/15
ORD 3/9/15 9/1/15
IAD 1/14/15 9/1/15
DEN 10/7/13 4/1/15
RDU 1/5/15 11/16/15
STL shouldn't take too long to hold.
If someone really wants STL as a base I would say we are the best choice of regionals.

That data seems to be somewhat dated. According to the the newhire domicile list that came out in July, the most junior STL pilot has a 6/13/16 date of hire. In other words, current newhires are being awarded STL before completing training.
