New Pilot Union Members Wanted
#21
Well I know you hate to have facts get in the way of your bloviations, but ALPA has represented the Midwest pilots all the way through their seniority arbitration. They provided all of the legal and technical assistance in representing their interests in the seniority dispute.

Funny.
Except when you consider the following . . . this is obviously from a few years back, like 2008 I believe, these numbers are copied from a previous Union post from within these forums. Perhaps some ALPA types can post the current salary and compensation information. Personally, I would be interested in seeing those numbers. Anybody else interested?

How about they outsource their high paying positions to lesser paid subcontracted employees. Why pay Bruce York $350,000 a year when we can hire a paralegal to do his job for $35,000. Sounds like the chaos that exists in the airline world.
Your anger is misdirected to blame profesionals for being paid as professionals, ALPA is not responsible for the airline industry woes. So if I understand you correctly, ALPA Natl employees make too much money but you do not make enough?

I don't know about all this, but what I do know is that we at Falcon Air Express supported the strike, and now, we need help getting our representation started. You have no idea the pressure the company has now put upon us.. HELP

You are right, they should all make poverty wages that way they can understand what it is like to be a regional pilot.

Ha ha . . . . I am not angry . . . . I am NOT ALPA.
I think your "professional" representatives at ALPA should get paid twice as much, perhaps you will get twice the "professionalism" out of them.
Heck, pay them three times as much out of each of your paychecks, maybe you will get three times the value out of their "professional" representation services.
So, does anybody care to post the current pay structure at ALPA professional?
(I won't waste anybodies time posting the pay rates for us "amateur" professionals, regional pilots. Or "kinda" professional, major airline pilots. Clearly pilots do not get compensated for their service like that professionals at ALPA, therefore pilots must not be as "professional.")
(You know I am just joking, right? I am 100% pro pilot union, just 99% against ALPO in its modern form)

You are 100% pro Pilot union and 100% against ALPA.
What Professional Pilot Union do you Belong to? Please name 1 that comes close to ALPA?
I am curious us what legislation your Union has sponsored and got passed on the hill?
As much as you seem to bash ALPA you seem to overlook all the things they
have done to promote Safety in this industry, not to mention turning being a Pilot into a career. If you think things are bad currently, Read flying the Line
part 1. Before ALPA was created Pilots were nothing more than flying truck drivers.
ALPA isn't perfect. No organization is. ALPA cannot perform miracles.
But I for one am thankful ALPA is around, even in it's current form.
