Not every headset is clunky. Many are ultra lightweight and small. Telex 750/850, for example. More and more guys with them lately. The Bose IS clunky.

[QUOTE=Airway;2604654]I do put it back where it goes. You're not going to like where that is, though!

Cute. But if you’re one of the people who breaks off the screwed in retainer clip so that your personal headset cord is easier to deal with, then you sir, are in the wrong. Use your own equip if you like, just put the aircraft issued equip back when you’re done. Pretty simple.

I do nothing of the sort. I just unplug the thing. You seem sensitive about this whole thing. I'll leave you alone.

Not in the least. Just calling BS where I see it. But, thanks for your concern.

My non headset wearing compadre scored a 16 “what” count on today’s last leg. 16 missed/misunderstood radio calls.

Working is so much more peaceful with a headset.

Plus when they're really annoying you can just cover both ears and ignore them.

I second that, works great, that and climb/descend at 280/290 vs 310/320, big difference.

That’s ok, The headset’ers can at least defend against that injustice and oppression, but why have the speaker cranked up only to put the earplugs in?

do you to turn the speaker off when you put the headset/eardick back on/in? Foregoing that sonic respect is a good stat to keep also.

It could be so peaceful.

If the union subsidized a headset, would the eardick lovers out there go ahead and convert?

What’s the resistance?
Try it, maybe you’ll like it...
