I'd say your pulling the ladder down from the basement.
The CS100 is a 100 seat aircraft it is NOT the same size as a 737.

The CS300 IS the same size as a small 737 and and pays as such.

CS-100 is 108 vs the 737-700's 118. 10 seat difference is equal to a $50+/hour pay difference?

Ok I agree the pay is poor and needs to be better. So does everyone. What do you suggest we do?

Any guess why the -700s make up only about 12% of the overall 737 fleet at UAL?

The -700s are all quickly being converted to slimline seats which bumps them up to 126 seats. Southwest puts 143 seats in their -700s. The CS-100 in a United E+ configuration would likely have a couple fewer rows in coach so about 98 seats.

Demand Delta's CS rates on the next contract and immediately fire the idiots that put together the pay scales for our sub SNB aircraft.

Guess who's still running our NC and about negotiate our next contract? The same clowns who brought you the last contract and the extension.

Major house cleaning in order.

Everyone wants pay rate improvements for snbs. Here is what we will have if there is any scope concessions though:

Sounds great and that's what I plan to do. So until we sign the new contract we should not fly the CS100? Or even want it? That's the part that doesn't make sense to a few of us. I say bring em on then we can fix the rates.

747 and 777-300 have 100+ more seats than a 787-8 but you are ok that the 747 and 777-300 don't pay more???

This is really getting silly. The CS100 rate in the extension ($194) was DAL's B717 rate at the time we voted. (considering we would not take delivery before 1/18). DAL has since ratified a new contract....does the snap-up apply to the CS100 rate? IDK...but I do know that we will be in contract talks before any CS100/EMB190-195 gets on our property.

That's exactly it. No mention of how you get paid more here flying a 787 than you do at Delta. Some people are eternally pessimistic. If we had cs100s on property, we could address the pay next contract if in fact the current rates were negotiated to match delta's 717.

Even at the current rates, it's still a win for everyone to get those cs100s on property.
