It's not exactly an inside source and it's not exactly a secret that they want to close Guam. Hey, it's not my decision. I don't lose sleep if you don't want to believe it. I hope you're right. It makes no difference to me if you believe it or not.

CLE and GUM can easily be absorbed by other bases. LAX 777 doesn't really fly anything. IAH 777 is likely next. All of the above makes sense. Its just going to add flying to other bases and more profit sharing.

Nah W's with zero reserves backup to at least 3 daily long haul markets makes more sense. Just like it does to use int DH's and hotels to acclimate to cover entire Guam operation. These guys are geniuses.

Because it is that much more expensive to live there than San Francisco or Washington DC?

So if GUM closes you think the company is just gonna be eating a ton of 7:45 DH's back and forth from HNL to position crews on both sides of every pairing? No way. There's no way they could get everyone where they need to be by starting and ending everyone via the hopper.
