All EWR and SFO I'm assuming? What's the split between the two bases? How senior is LAX on either equipment at the moment?

It's a junior base relative to ORD & IAH, but more senior than EWR/SFO/LAX. Both DCA 737 & 320 are available in tomorrow's drop. It's hit or miss as to whether it is available out of BI, but as long as vacancy bids are happening, it would be available relatively quickly.

Have any of the 100+ unfilled 777 FO spots been offered to new hires? Has anyone heard related discussion, or how attractive those spots would be?

Not in the drops, but they were available to them in training on the last vacancy.

Not true. I spoke to travel and training and opted to stay at the DT for the entirety of my training so that I could walk over to training center rather than catch a shuttle. Just ask and see what they say.

I would also add that with the supposed return of the PW 777’s until sometime in early 2022, they won’t be in a huge rush to fill those slots. I will be curious if they offer vacancies on the next bid if the extension to their grounding is confirmed.

Anyone from August interviews receive a class date yet?

Where do you see this besides when someone posts it on here?

Second this question. Interviewed 20 August, CJO on 26 August. Wondering what I should tell my current employment...

Thanks!

Anyone that interviewed on 8/24 hear back yet?

It's on the basic indoc site. They always post the upcoming class's drop by BES, just not the #'s that go along with them.

Where is that? Flying Together> Flight Operations > Flight Training> (some random link I can’t see?)

It’s made by pilot development, but is not on the ual.com domain, so unless you have the link/login, no you can’t see it. Ask a new hire for it, they’ll all have it.

I’m 8/25 and still nothing. Isn’t WED when the review board meets and issues CJOs or TBNT?

It's mountain time though. My call came later in the day on the east coast so not hearing yet doesn't mean anything.

Do you recall when you got the call/email? I believe they said they are only doing emails now either with a CJO or TBNT.

After initial CJO, you will get an official CJO that you will need to sign and return.
Sometime later, you will receive a “United Airlines Class Offer” email. Therein are the details for a class you're invited to; once you accept that, you have something tangible to tell your current employer.

Yes. Invites for October started going out a couple days ago.

Leadership Inventory Assessment Info

Hello,

I received the invitation for United’s Leadership Inventory Assessment. Just wondering if anyone has taken it recently?
Is it basically the Hogan Assessment? 2 parts-both personality tests?

Thanks very much!

Congratulations on the invitation for the Leadership Inventory Assessment.

It is basically the Hogan, both parts are personality assessments. Allegedly there is no wrong or right answer.
I'd suggest you be true to yourself with your responses, as this will help ensure you're consistent in your response.

Functional areas are being assessed so expect many questions to feel similar, as such, being true/consistent is helpful.

After the assessment, I heard about the next phase 8 business days later.

Best wishes

Thanks very much for the response. Greatly appreciated! So there are some math, inductive reasoning questions in there too?

I stand corrected. No cognitive test, just personality questions assessing various functional areas. No math, no colors or puzzles to match.

Congratulations and good luck. Do you mind sharing your background. I have six internal recs, no failures, corporate, regional, and currently at a ULCC. App has been reviewed by Cage, and I cannot even get a nibble.

1) sorry

2) maybe taking you too literally. But there are no nibbles. If United has 5000 applications and is interviewing 50 next week, they send out 50 invites. There’s no indication whether you’re a hard no, acceptable but nothing more, or getting an invite next month. It’s a sucky system to be on the end of

AMC190 09-04-2021 04:54 PM

What’s the average waiting period of time from cjo to class date? Thanks
