Anybody that could tell you that with certainty could also provide the winning numbers on the next powerball.

That said, UAL has been “public” with the plan to grow DEN. What that will look like, and the timeline, is a guess.

Either airline is a great company to fly for. That having been said, did Southwest announce a vacancy bid for 30 SFO 777 Captains today? Or how about 15 LAX 787 Captains?

SWA has by far the healthiest balance sheet in the industry.

As for seniority progression in DEN, 2 years on the property, you’re bidding at 70-72% in base... for upgrades, DEN tends to go junior.

No, but we did announce we are getting additional 40 MAX8’s in addition to current order...

Exactly. They are both great places to land for different reasons. I am both jealous of my United friends and glad I didn’t end up there at the same time. It’s a weird emotion. If you could take the best things about both companies it would be a paradise.

United has 160 Max 8’s coming.

Wish they were airbuses

sorry i like poking around and keeping tabs on most airlines
Every plane UAL has in DEN pays the same as the 320/737. Got a buddy on the 737 there in DEN (took 2.5 yrs to hold) and he’s bidding around 85%. I’ve been in DEN since 6 mos seniority and am bidding 65%.

SWA has 15 off for rsv’s with a 2 hr call-out. UAL has long call/short call if you want a longer leash.

SWA FO pay lags UAL from yr 2-4 and is basically on par after that. I had a UAL interview and declined it since my QOL is great. YMMV
