Default JS From YYZ on AC

Looking to jump seat from YYZ to BNA on Air Canada. How do you list? ID90 is for R2 standby. How do you get thru customs w/o a boarding pass?

Thanks

Air Canada uses MyIDTravel for JS listings, like American and Southwest. Info is in the ALPA Jumpseat Guide.

Try the ticket counter for boarding pass, would be my guess.

FYI to anyone jumpseating on Air Canada/Westjet...

There is a Canadian tax that is collected when you book. Around $65, regardless of whether you do the ID Travel route, or use the employee 800 number. I specifically asked about the jumpseat and was told it’s collected regardless.

Commuting from Canada must suck.

Once you list on myidtravel you can check in on line or with the air canada app (within 24hrs). It will issue you an electronic boarding pass to get through security. Or you can just check in at the counter. You cannot sit in the actual jump seat. The employees are pretty great, they will frequently put me in first class if there are open seats. Also, I think it’s only about $42, not $65.
