Again...
This debate arises every four years, we get it, some of you don’t like watching the biggest sport in the world. The fact is, the majority of the world does. None of us have ancestry that is purely American, most of us are of European or other descent. This is a game our ancestors played. Maybe just try watching one match and rooting for the team your descendants come from, see if you change your mind, you may actually enjoy it. Chastising fans online or making idiotic comments on the radio when someone asks for a score on a game makes us look ignorant and uninformed. Just my .02c

6 games in.. 6 games watched!
That Portugal v. Spain game was amazing. Will go down as an all time great especially due to CR7's 3rd goal that gave them the tie!
I get that alot of old americans don't like soccer. Oh well.
But at least the World Cup is the whole world..
Let me know the next (first?!) time a team from Japan, Mexico or anywhere else plays in the "World" Series?!
Ok, back to ARG v. ISL. Lets see what Messi's got!
Motch
(Taking most of the month off for WC18)
C2018 done before WC2022?!

You need dirt and a ball, hence soccer.
Oh and soccer is widely believed to have originated in China.

You are showing your ignorance here, some of the biggest soccer stars in the world make much more than Brady and LeBron combined! May want to do some research before you make generalizations. And you are right, all you need is dirt and a ball. Sort of like a stick and a ball the way Dominican baseball players learned, or a hoop and a ball like most NBA players learned right?
