Guppy too loud for you? Wear earplugs. Solved!

How about all that high yield cargo the guppy carries WITH full load of pax vs the 757? (Left it)

The mid continent US fuel stop because it can’t go transcontinental in a head wind AND have gas for an alternate (More than once)

Notice they stopped saying that “guppy saves $2m a year” crap almost as soon as they started? Meanwhile DAL, B6, NK, AA.... all buying NEOS. Us, and SWA because they have no other choice the guppy. Based on performance the last few years I know whose bean counters are better.
How many 57 drivers does it take to change a lightbulb?😉

Yes they absolutely do. The 737 is the one that’s stifling hot when you board and then turns to a sub-zero meat locker within 15 minutes of departure.

You Guppy drivers......amateurs, complete amateurs. Summer happens every year gents, we’ve already covered this. It’s time for you guys to wake the &:/k up and learn to keep the cabin comfortable for the passengers.

Now that was funny. And, unfortunately partially true.

And, the bus seats are wider, as is the aisle and the shoulder room at the window seats. Yes, the pax do notice. Some of them anyway. Perhaps if we offered a superior product, we'd attract more (and perhaps higher paying?) customers. Bet the bean counters would like that.

Not as many as the guppy... that stupid recall light alone constitutes more warning lights. All that glass and they couldn’t modernize the overhead, or at least automate the bleed system? Captains that don’t understand it and then micromanage cause FOs more angst than the actual operation of it.

99% of the time you ask a PAX what kind plane they are on they will say a United one...doesn’t matter whether they are on a lowly 50 seat RJ or god’s own 777. You guys crack me up.

Yup the guppy is terrible and everyone should stay away.... especially if you’re senior to me!

What BES are you in awax? You’re pretty bold and just curious who I’m typing to.

I drive a 737 currently. Driven the 320 and 777 as well. I’ve gotten on all types in our fleet over 20 years and the plane was an oven.

Perhaps you need to council and mentor all plane drivers at U.......

If you don’t like the 737, please don’t bid it. If you think it’s hot in back, politely stick your head in the pit, introduce yourself and inform the pilots it’s hot in back.

Oh, and don’t be such a.......

Found an airplane uglier than the guppy . Betcha it'd be real comfortable if they outfitted it with passenger seats.

6000 hrs in the 737. Yes the bus has wider fuselage and bigger cockpit.

If it’s hot I start the APU and it’s cool. Never done a transcon fuel stop. Never left passengers behind except once on a straight -900 going to BDA when we wanted more gas.

Good pair of noise canceling headsets or earplugs fixes the loud. We can all afford a pair.

I fly whatever they buy. Not getting into a you know what measuring contest.

But as stated earlier, please don’t bid it if you’re senior to me- it’s horrible!
