AMR sucks at everything. They even suck at sucking. In the last year their share value has dropped 30%. Won't be long and Dougwiser will be on his 3rd DUI..... No wonder Kirby wanted out of that dive.

Easy killer. 😀 We were the best at sucking just a few years ago, and we’re still pretty good at the occasional suck.

UAL has 1,183 Captains at the highest pay rate (777/787/764) and 4,879 Captains total.
DAL has 451 Captains at the highest pay rate (ATL/DTW/LAX B777 & DTW A350).

Highest paying & QOL FO jobs are relatively even greater due to United having far more double augmented flights.

Those numbers check. Here's hoping we're able to band up the 330/764 like UAL/AAL, but not at the expense 2CA/2FO over 12 hours. If we banded like you guys, we'd have ~1,100 WB Captains (777/350/330/764).

Hear, hear!

And we need to hold the RJ scope line exactly were it is for both United and Delta.

How did you do a head count for 764 captains? All 756 CA’s?

I can't speak to FTL numbers, but we (UAL 756 buddies) just used a % based on the number of 764 aircraft and amount of 764 flying in the bid packet. So basically a rough WAG...not ideal but the best that we could do.

Edit...my numbers were identical to FTLs

In case it was an omission, DAL has 6087 captains as of this month.

Ok that’s what I was hoping was used as the measurement vs grouping all 756 captains in and inflating the numbers. Thanks!

Thanks. I didn't have that number. So,

DAL has 451 at the highest pay rate of 6,087 total Captains.
UAL has 1,183 at the highest pay rate of 4,879 total Captains.

It should also be noted that DAL 330s and 764s only pay about $15/hour less than the top rate.
