Blows my mind that anyone could look back in retrospect and think the extension was a bad idea.

As far as LOA25, it was a dirty deal from the outset and I won't debate you on the merits as it falls on myopic ears. Never been a fan of TA's in lieu of complete contracts and I guess we're all ok hoping that Delta takes the industry a notch higher so we can coattail on them. |

More than a few UAL furloughees WERE placed behind all "active pilots" at the snapshot date... not to mention behind most of the CAL furloughees as well.
Guess that's something to be grateful for, right? |

Guess your myopia outshines mine. If you look real close, you'll see me mentioning that you guys deserved to have that fixed way before it was addressed in the TA. Guess reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. Funnily you have no comment as to the plight of the CAL furloughees who still travel at reduced seniority. Guess the ladder's been pulled up regarding that and you wouldn't dream of helping them out.

To hell with anyone else’s plight, they are too busy crying about their own as they head down the jetway ahead of people hired before them.

But they have no problem bidding equipment and lines ahead of people hired before them!
Pass travel is DOH and applies to everyone at the company. But two different sets of rules are being used to the detriment of one group. But hey why should you care, right? |

CAL furloughees were treated in accordance with their sCAL contract. While I have no problem adjusting EVERYONE’s travel to be their MAINLINE hire date, it’ll never happen because there are still tons of people who are making out getting their COEX DOH for travel. If we are going to reinvent the travel wheel for furloughees, then it has to apply to EVERYONE. Not a carve out for those few. It was a carve out that LOA 25 created. Why do you support making a new carveout? |
