Saw an ad on this site for Air New Zealand flights LAX-LHR. I knew they were flying NZ-LAX-LHR as a Second Freedom flight, but didn't think they were allowed to board pax in LAX. Are there any other carriers allowed to do similar flights?

Singapore does LAX-NRT and LAX-ICN that I believe are under the same rights. Korean used to operate LAX-GRU as well.

Not sure if AF still does PPT-LAX-CDG.

You aren’t allowed to Carry PAX domestically. So QF LAX-JFK cannot carry LAX originating PAX. Intl they can do what ever they want. Just like the UA and DL hubs in NRT used to do.

Also note that Air NZ operates a joint venture with UAL on top of all the typical Star Alliance code-shares.
I would be interested to know if the LHR route is included in the JV.

United only has one nonstop listed UA923 departing at 530P. If it were a codeshare, the Air New Zealand flight would have a UA number assigned to it and be bookable on United.com.
