Both DL and AA pilot groups managed to retain a traditional and respectable uniform. I don’t think UA did. They somehow retained the FA “pilot” version of their uniform, which is bad.
What’s the history of gold wings and stripes? Is this the first time it’s been changed from gold?, effort to stop legacy wing wearing?

Black....really? Looks like a generic pilot uniform from some aviation catalog. I don’t think they want cheapskate numbnuts buying their own uniform pieces from men’s wearhouse because they’re too cheap to pay a little more for some quality. Black looks el-cheapo....generic

Always. and not just with uniforms. You should have seen the pushback when we started going with the computerized boarding headcount instead of an actual from the FAs.
