Don’t know how you found that, but a very interesting and enlightening article. Thank you.

It mostly dovetails with my own observations so far. (Training capacity/lead times, Leaves, no-fly lines, etc).

If this is what IATA is using for planning...then we aren’t in that bad of a spot. Not the great one of three months ago...but not post 9-11 or 2009-10, either.

Two years??? Are you drunk??? This thing will be over in 6 months tops, and more realistically 3 months. It’s a flu virus, not the bubonic plague! We’ll be flying back to China in May. Calm the **** down people.

I agree.
Just tell all the news outlets to stop hyperventilating and spreading fear and things will slowly go back to normal.

Saw on MSNBC where they said the stock market drop was strictly because of Trump’s policies and had nothing to do with coronavirus at all. I was walking by the TV when I heard it. Stopped me dead in my tracks. I looked up because I wanted to see which network it was coming from.

Wrong. That will be the moon sized asteroid they discover this summer on a certain collision course with Earth. Bruce Willis will be too old to save us and the Space Shuttle fleet is retired anyway.

This. Everyone with a webpage is trying to influence the market these days. Trades happen at light speed and millions are made in a moment on a tiny bid/ask spread. All it takes is a little helpful noise at the right time. The more people you can get to emotionally react the better. Forgive my cynicism while we hang in the balance 😒
