In the meantime, some 78/77 FO is sitting at home all month for 50 hours of pay, golfing nine every morning and without a care in the world about when to stop drinking for show time. There are winners during this completely unfounded apocalyptic mass hysteria. Just wish it would trickle down to the NB fleet. Specifically the 320 in ORD.

I "heard" yesterday it will be coming to all fleets. 50 hours month off. I asked the CP office about a 1-3 year LOA yesterday. They said no problem.

As of yesterday, all communications from US agencies regarding COVID19 have to be cleared through the Vice President’s office. It appears that functioning government with agencies that can act on and communicate in their areas of expertise is a thing of the past.

I agree that hysteria is the wrong response but equally damaging is a government that’s not trustworthy. Given the administration’s unique style of communication, who are you going to believe?
