Have enough friends there that I don't need or want to see them screwed.
I have been pointing out how us Big 4 are really all headed in different directions which I find strange.
That is all..
Hopefully the rumor of those March NewHires starting InDoc in July (ish) turns out to be true...

I think what a lot of people are saying was a “never mind” email is misrepresenting. The second email was a correction that the details were still being worked but they do plan on doing assignments and bringing potentially smaller groups at some point mid-summer.

It’s not “dumb luck” that we may not have many furloughs, despite being the most leveraged company. A huge amount of us came to American based largely on retirement projections. The same ingredients that allowed for good seniority progression also allow staffing reductions to happen organically.

Nothing has happened yet, hard to tell which CEOs are posturing and which are planning. I think we’ll see who is and isn’t lucky in Oct. Best wishes to all!

Kirby is a one trick pony. Operationally, he’s an extremely smart man. He doesn’t carry that same talent to employee negotiations/relations. I think the UAL pilots have been warned. If they fall for his tactics I don’t know what to say.
