The biggest difference is the 46 lay flat seats up front on the 767 vs 10 on the 321.

The 10 are the first class cabin. All of the 321T business class seats are full lay flat as well.

I think what he means is that in both cases a large portion of the aircraft is allocated to lay flat premium seats. Actually, the additional United Economy Plus/ AA Main Cabin Extra are another similar layout element.

Unrelated - If you want another interesting configuration you can check out the British Airways Airbus A318. Spoiler alert... you can’t book a zed on that flight, it is embargoed.

Edit: BA 318 info

Hopefully this will encourage United management to worry more about competition and losing market share than playing chicken little to encourage labor consessions. Mint suites are quite nice and an impressive product.

Adding 15 flights a day makes it a hub?

AA says they have 30 lay flat. 10 first class and 20 business. At least the ones I’ve flown have 30 - haven’t seen any other 321T’s with a different configuration but maybe we have them?

Rome was not built in a day. I am curious how you feel about UA’s NYC strategy though.

Think of the hype the company would be trying to generate if we added 15 flights a day to a non hub city like PHL, PHX, or SEA for example.
