It depends on what side you were hired on and how the ISL treated you but for a UAL guy it’s about 23 years.
This is the norm for me, this is my 8th or 9th displacement and my second time off the captains seat. Well actually off the 320 left seat I am holding 737 Cap by about two right now. I’m sure I’ll get scraped on the next “clean up” bid.
Oh yeah I forgot to add, Special K sucks...

To hold a Captain seat from the LCAL side, it’s around 15 years employed by the company and likely increasing with the next displacements.
For the LUAL side, it’s actually a bit less than 15 years employed as many of those junior captains were furloughed for years. Hundreds of furloughed LUAL went ahead of active LCAL pilots.
