[QUOTE=AirMicronesia;3071992

For the LUAL side, it’s actually a bit less than 15 years employed as many of those junior captains were furloughed for years. Hundreds of furloughed LUAL went ahead of active.

]Both sides think they got screwed and have valid points, time to let it go and focus on the huge problems ahead together.

I've never seen years employed as a measuring stick for current upgrade time. A seniority number corresponding to the DOH, regardless of how long a pilot was on furlough for.

It gets messy when seniority lists combine and DOH no longer means much. I suppose you could list it via DOH but when DOH doesn’t relate to the issue, an easy to digest number would be how many years a person has been employed at a company. It looks like 15-16ish years to hold Captain at United in the current displacement.

This is how the average LUAL pilot creates unity in the displacement thread on a different forum:

“No...the Cal 2005s had it much worse. Just ask them. Surprised they haven’t chimed in yet.

Just an outsider, I didn't mean to start a mess in regards to SLI arguments. Is it fair to say regardless of which pilot was furloughed or not, the current LUAL CA has gone to a 1998 DOH and a LCAL has gone to a 2005 DOH, regardless of where they fell on the SLI (fairly close to each other I assume for these two folks)?

If you think this SLI is bad, just wait till the next post bankruptcy UAL merger with Spirit or JetBlue.

God bless your cotton pickin little heart.

If I ever get to meet you I hope I am carrying my anatomically correct female rag doll so you can show me precisely on her where you were hurt.

More than likely you are one of the few that will drag this to the grave. Some people live to tell the world how they were hurt ... even if they weren't. Most, even if hurt, have a pair and move on.

Again, may God bless your cotton picking little heart.

See #16 on the page 2 of the thread. I can't say it any more plain.
