Dude, I NEVER and I mean NEVER bring this crap up. It's only when people like Whaler and AirMic make ridiculous BS comments like they do, that the blood starts to boil. I'm sure they've never read every word of the arbitration hearings (which I did). If they had, they'd see the ridiculous and laughable behavior of their MEC in said arbitration. I wonder if they new that the LUAL side had to show the arbitrators the LCAL seniority list because "well judge, it's complicated". Give me an effin break. I have left this in my rear view mirror, and then when WE (as an entire pilot group) are faced with what we are being faced with, fools like this say foolish things.

The contract history the UAL side brought with it is the reason you didn’t stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night and the reason you aren’t crew resting in a 757 exit row and the reason you are no longer attending training in a corrugated metal double-wide....just to name a few things.

It'll be interesting to hear these clowns tune if we furlough 3000 pilots THEN merge with Frontier or Spirit. I bet they'll think status, category, and longevity are REALLY important. Whaler's S&C will be an active NB First Officer - same as a 2019 Spirit hire. He'll be at the VERY BOTTOM of our seniority list (since he thinks all the furloughees should be stapled..). Sometimes you can't fix stupid.

PS. whaler - you come across like a dipstick when you're proud of misusing 'your' vs 'you're'.

Quit while you're behind dude. You know deep down that your comments are foolish. If you actually believe there is some logic to saying all united furloughees who were hired BEFORE you ever saw the right seat of a CAL jet should have been stapled at the bottom of the list, I pity anyone that has to fly with you.

You can keep having your love affair with CAL. Most of us don't give a rats patooty about a COMPANY. If you knew even the most rudimentary thing about a pilot contract and unionism in general you'd probably stop typing.

Too bad this has devolved back into the civil war. It makes me really wonder if we can keep our solidarity when they come at us with some concessionary contract given "these unprecedented and trying times". Not sure if Whaler or AirMic will be able stand shoulder to shoulder with their LUAL brothers and sisters.

Pretty rich of you to preach solidarity while trashing half your ""brothers and sisters" in the process.

Sorry but the holier than thou attitude of CAL being a second class airline got old a long time ago but keeps bubbling up, but always someone else's fault.

As an 07 hire that had all happened by the time you got your dream job licking Bethune’s boots. By the way, you’ll never get furloughed from somewhere respectable if you can’t even get hired at somewhere respectable.

Look, I’ve been over it for a long time, too. We have bigger fish to fry.
