With the voting window open for SEVEN days and the details of the TA having already been out for a week, along with videos and multiple Q&As, if you’re feeling “rushed”, maybe you shouldn’t be an airline pilot.
As for any perceived shortened timeline...this has to be done by the end of the month lest the furloughs go forward as planned. There is no mystery or hidden agenda in that.

because 2250 are set to be cut loose on Oct 1st... and another thousand a month later. Once cut loose they will not be brought back until after the recovery starts.

Enough with the conspiracy theories!

Why because we don’t want to give you any time to form a rational decision based on facts....We want you to buy in on our “hope” that everything will go as planned...We will issue you blinders so you may only see what we want you to see. #CORE4

It’s the fiduciary responsibility of any public company to get labor of any said company as cheap as possible. SK just got it done by having pilots pay for pilots. I would rather not take this POS contact and donate 3k a month to a furlough fund. I think it would equate to the same income for the 2007 and at least they would come back to a solid contact. This is horrendous.

OK, fair enough, let’s do nothing now. How long would you like to do nothing to let you think over whether you would like to decide to do something?

- 6 month lead time
- Last to offer early outs
- First to send out WARN letters
- AIP provided to membership 2 weeks before vote closes
Everything about this is wrong

100%. It’s not a conspiracy theory, it’s MGT 101 (lowering the cost of labor). And they’re about to make a huge win.

They can’t just expel 4000-5000 pilots overnight. They will artificially carry a surplus like it or not at company cost. Once the surplus is utilized that will be their trigger to recover more. If they are as hopeful as they seem (and there is a bounce back) they will see the trend and be proactive.
yes that would include me being pushed out. I think this is an epic gamble with little chance of success and will only be financially & contractually detrimental to the collective whole not only for the entire length of this TA but this will last for many years down the road far past the TA sunset
