this is correct and a huge bummer.

With the savings, does this mean the inflight service will get better?

It won’t let me paste all 29 pages here. Maybe find a friend at UAL and have them send it to you.

Um, no savings to company. Costs then a lot more so service will probably suffer .

and the tiers are fluid, especially with potentially 655 new members to the top two. Not to mention some of my WB buddies who’ll bid to a lower tier and commute only twice a month

seniority honored and we are all in this together

"Days less worked", that is not true. Oh, if only it were that simple. 2:20

Wait till your vacation month rolls around and do the math. Keeping the vacation multiplier at 2:20 will be a paycut for many pilots. Remember the 2:20 comes from 70 hours MPG divided by 30 days. Why did the mulitplier not change to the commensurate MPG? Ah, its just the fine print. Who reads the fine print anyway?

And when is going from 70 to 60 a 10% cut?

Cool. I haven't followed all of this closely enough to know what everyone's saying in terms of EO.
There was another person complaining that he just missed the age limit for the previous early out. Will be interesting to see what he does.

Having been furloughed twice from the lazy U, I know how bad it sucks. I'm glad we were able to keep these guys on property a while longer.

At this point, it all depends on how fast people will return to flying. And that's going to depend on how long it takes for Covid to be done. I expect at least one of the vaccines in phase 3 trials to be fairly effective for Covid.

Have you heard of this company called Delta?

What exactly would be the indicator of it working or not?

In your(or any other "no" pilot's) opinion what is the absolute rock bottom outcome of this agreement?
