Well, why don’t you take the COLA and go make money somewhere else? You talk about taking one for the team. You could leave and save the Company/Management money and return when SK says it’s all good.

You been furloughed?

So if 14 months of furlough is no big deal to you, why not just Furlough 2850?

I don’t think the company was in a position to furlough the numbers they advertised for October. In the bottom 2000 something like 1800 NB FO’s. I just completed NB RQ3 training in September which is the short course and all the instructors kept remarking how few people have been trained.

I think we got played and fully expect 2000 furloughs on June 1.

I disagree. I don’t think the company was in a position to furlough 1500 or so NB FO’s on Oct 1. We got played.

Still better than 2850 furloughs by Dec 1.

HuggyU2.... they didn’t intend any disrespect, not all Lockheed’s are worthy of Kelly Johnson’s special projects division (Skunk works)

They can barely retrain 50-75 pilot's per month. No way 2850 were on the street Dec 1. The company played us like a violin.

Wrong. The question is were we fat by at least 2850 in the NB FO categories, i.e. the lambs to be slaughtered, for the level of flying? 50 reserves per day in some bases. So yes we were.

Too bad 58 percent of your pilots couldn't see that also.

Exactly...all these guys puffing their chest about "more time off" probably haven't lifted a finger to take any voluntary leave options since this mess started.
