Anyone watch the video put up by the MEC? What’s your take? I got the impression the seed is being sowed for a big bankruptcy somewhere and y’all better get ready for the domino effect.

I really enjoyed listening to him speak....learned a lot. I was also happy to hear his thoughts on United vs the industry. Seems like a no Bull**** individual so I took his words and analysis to be genuine. I didnt particularly care for the increased JV talk....but what pilot would.

as far as get ready for a bankruptcy and let the dominos fall? I’m not sure that’s what he said. I took away that there will be winners and losers and we will find out soon who they are. I also feel like he was talking about the world wide industry not just the US.

with what Hunter said I think he was more amid at Emirates, Cathay, Ethiad, Quatar.......the airlines that cater to premium heavy international WB only flying.

however Hunter didn’t sound to impressed with AA. I think this is where we get his quote”it only takes one bad player to bring down the entire industry.” If AA ****s the bed, which I would argue they started back in July, and goes Bankrupt then everyone else has to follow to remain competitive.

that is correct. It’s going to be hard to secure DIP financing when your are leveraged at 600% of you market cap and revenues.

AA is clearly doing poorly. Not sure that we are that much better off though.
