One thing that’s being left out is the Sani-tabs you have to throw in the toilet and let mellow for at least an hour before flushing. There were multiple articles investigating COVID19 spread in Chinese high rise sewer pipes. Apparently the required field hotel doesn’t have a plumbing water seal between rooms/floors. This setup was attributed to the spread of COVID19.

I have no doubt that you had a different experience. I think they are inventing things as they go. No one knows how the deal was sold so they make up stuff or it changes on the fly. Glad you had a choice.

BTW, I did hear back from the SFO LEC. They are working on it. But I doubt things will change until after the election. Everything politics may change after that date.

My point is that I was concerned with my safety. That should never happen on a layover, no matter the politics of the situation.
