Funny thing is how no one ever considers the pay they get for work they haven't done. Fly 17 hours get paid 35, fly 40 get paid 69, etc. Stay home and get fat on nachos, get paid 50 SRL or 73 hours on reserve lol.

Nobody really “works for free”. You might make some choices that end up having you (God forbid) WORK for the pay you receive.
Having said that....I’m a big fan of work rules that keep us protected, and soft time is tha shizz......but let’s not act like somebody who picked up is somehow being wronged by the recipients of CARES money. We should ALL be hoping for this nightmare to end, and have to start working again.
Pilots, in general, are way too focused on what somebody else is getting instead of what’s right in front of them. Two dogs with a full bowl of food in front of them, eating voraciously, staring the whole time at the other bowl wondering why it MIGHT have a few more pieces of kibble in it.....GMAFB
