EWR Town Hall Hype?
#1
Haven’t tuned in to any non-union town hall meeting in a very long time, but logged in today to see what the EWR CPO had to say about current events and the health of our industry since things have been kinda quiet on that front from our MEC.
EWR CP enthusiastically says we will be at 80% of previous levels by summer and 100% by years end. He says we are only staffed to fly 91% of previous levels so hiring will need to take place to fly more than that.
Can anyone corroborate any of this or is Fabz blowing smoke?

Reminds me of Jordan in ORD years ago ... he knew how to raise a tail and pump it out.
”... I promise you that the company is not asking for one cent more than they really need ...”
I was on the receiving end of a stern look after my laughing b. s.
Fortunately I wasn’t based there ... just passing through.

We are slowly moving forward, the flying this summer will be >80% of 2019. I’m just glad that any kind of good news seems to irritate all the all knowing Naysayers waiting around the corner to give us the I told you so talk. May 6th we are starting SNA-HNL on the 737-700 👍👌.
