Default [777] loses cowling on departure from DEN

Breaking on the news.
Pictures show engine cowling pieces on the ground. No one hurt.

Mike Boyd commented that there is no better airline MX than United on the news.


Edit: It now sounds like it was a 777 engine cowling.

Engine flaming, disintegrating, and trying to vibrate itself off the wing? Yeah, about that LDG weight restriction....

Yep. Put her on the ground. MX is going to have the bird for a minute anyway,overweight landing inspection is least of their concerns.
