They might actually fair well for the next five years. The 550 will be used out of the upper East cost region. There is a need for that platform. Get in and get your time. Hopefully things will work or for you and us all

There is no “need” for the 550’s other than to bend around UA scope.

would you rather offer customers a POS RJ-200 or a -700 with larger overheads and slightly bigger seats with free booze?
cats outta the bag. If we’re going to have RJs, the less traditional “50 seaters” the better.

For someone joining the regionals today aviate is supposed to be the quickest route. I would take the other guys advice and talk to gojet pilots that aren’t recruiters before joining.

I can’t post a new thread… or PM.. or anything, so I’ll ask the question here:
What should I expect for a timeline to make it to Denver on reserve and then as a line holder? I know it’s a moving target and depends on airframe, but I’m looking for a really rough hack at it. That’s ultimately where we would like to end up, and I want to go in with eyes wide open and a realistic expectation for my family. Thanks all.

320/737 have historically gone back & forth on being the fastest seat into a particular base- I'd definitely try to avoid 756 for DEN.
