The last one retired a few years ago, although he was one of the guys who crossed the line.

Heard CAL was the place to be in the 70’s. Wish I could have flown with some of those guys (who didn’t cross).

that’s what it seems like, I looked thru of the remaining scabs and they were in their mid 20s when they got hired and show hire dates of 84 and 85. Had to fly with one a few weeks ago...it was a painful experience. F them all.

I agree 100% Also, its usually obvious you’re flying with one without even referencing said book.

the sad part was this guy invited me to dinner, which tells me that there are enough pilots that have given these scabs a psss that they have not gotten the message. For the record I said no.

I flew with a lot of them and, to a man, they were the salt of the earth. Two years is a long time but, to them, it was an easy decision.

I loved those Ole Timer's. 77-78-79 hires were awesome! The 83-84-85 hires not so much. The tough thing is that those scabs now have kids. Some of their kids are flying airplanes and wanting to get into the business. Their kids are second generation scabs. The sins of the father so to speak. We owe them something.......Their papa was one of the saviors that saved the airline. So, naturally we gotta help their kids. Probably gonna get us to pull their luggage.
When in doubt, check the list. I think that was the reason we all got new U numbers after the merger....?
