Would anyone 1)currently in training and/or 2)recently finished with training be able to give me a realistic idea off take home pay for both scenarios? I've searched high and low before posting, but would like a recent and simple idea of what to expect.
Currently making $90k flying 150 hours per year as PIC on a Part 91 jet with no other benefits. I'm home ALL. THE. TIME. to see my 3 kids and love my schedule. Unfortunately, I'm starting to have real concerns about paying the price for it down the road. A legitimate 401k, other benefits, higher career earning potential, and the ability to actually build hours are really pulling me in this direction. I just need to understand what my training/first year pay will look like and what kind of pain to expect...
Any help would be greatly appreciated. PM is fine too.
