I’m very happy that I received an interview invitation after visiting the Denver job fair. I was looking for some info on the log book review. The invitation email states that electronic logbook printouts are acceptable as long as you bring the original ones. Additionally it says that pocket style logbooks are not acceptable. So my question is- are they looking at the printed version and just want to make sure that the original log books are there? Since I only have have pocket style logbooks I sat down and converted everything to an electronic logbook for accuracy and better overview. My last interview with my current LCC was very happy with the printed version and didn’t bother to see the original logbooks. I know this not a LCC interview but still I wanted to ask for some recent experiences with an electronic printout. Thanks for any advice.

I wouldn't stress on it, just bring what you have and make sure it's all legible. You'll be alright.

All of my 121 is in an electronic log. I brought my initial paper logbook and the printed copy of everything. Worked just fine.

I tabbed my electronic logbook and received compliments from the Captain interviewing me.

FedEx Office does a good job of printing your logbook from PDF, binding it and putting plastic covers. Roughly 80-90 bucks on card stock. FOLLOW the directions you were given to your best ability. Bring your original logs that have your initial certs.

You're welcome. A guy in my squadron (military) had his interview before mine and he made fancy copies at FedEx, but that's unnecessary, they give you back all the originals. Focus your interview prep on other things.

What is the percentage of 1, 2, 3 and 4 day trips on the 737 in lax? How senior do you have to be to generally hold Hawaii flights with that base and equipment type?

Block time varies between other bases too much from month to month to give you an accurate answer unfortunately. In general, from LAX, it’s pretty safe to assume a far bit of HI on the 737. Some will be Dhd and others will be a layover. Consistency will vary but you can bet most months will have HI in the equation.
