There have been exceptions to that which have prevailed. Notably there was one a number of years ago where somebody (FA's I think) claimed they were getting paid less than min wage based on duty time. That was upheld and some airlines had to make up the difference, including for some junior regional FO's.

While I’m not aware of the actual case, I would surmise we don’t fall under such a situation for even a guy/gal on day one with our pay rates and MPG. Wish them all the luck with the case but don’t feel it will prevail.
