A degree in whining and complaining is used much more in the everyday life of an airline pilot!

Is that more or less difficult than underwater basket weaving?

lots of money to be made. Lots of schools offer degrees in wine-making and beer brewing. Does that also make you sad?

I think dope growing should be a concentration or a minor in a larger horticulture program. It's simply sad to see the over-specialization tendencies in modern-day academic institutions

if it was liberal arts, I’d agree with you. People should have the freedom to choose what they want to pursue… But they should have to have a huge disclaimer at orientation that their degree is virtually worthless.

however, if you are talking about a degree in the sciences, specialization probably reflects a market demand and increased profit for the subject mastery. Think of the medical field.

Would you agree that dope growing is an art and a science? I've never done it but just judging by what I've heard in certain songs

exactly. Like if there’s money to be made there’s typically a degree for it.
