Quote: We have to show up day one with covid vaccine card and if we don't already have yellow fever it must be done within 14 days of employment.
was this recent? Yellow fever was not required when I was hired in 2020. I assume this is only for international crews to countries that require it?

It's currently a requirement for all new hires. I have no idea if it was historically, though, since it was something I already had.

Has anyone bothered to ask the hotel van driver yet?

Quote: I asked an instructor friend in DEN about this. He said it is a fake rumor. No one has been fired.
Have zero knowledge of the event in the rumor you mention.

What I will tell you, however, is there have been a number of disciplinary grievances by the company when pilots haven’t followed the FOCOVID bulletin. They are confidential and I can’t provide specifics. FOLLOW the company guidance is all I’ll say on this subject. This is an item that is hard to defend if they call you on it.

My best 2 cents offered. Take it or leave it.

ALPA New Hire Mentor Chairman has been Uber quiet on this… in past he has been good at stomping out fake stuff. I think this did happen.
