It is very disturbing indeed.

My religion doesn’t allow me to sit next someone who is unvaccinated.

Your vaccine must really suck for you to feel that way. It’s ok, booster up buttercup. Number 4 (5)? Coming in hot and fresh out of the oven just like Daddy pfizer told you.

Y’all aren’t conspiracy theorists y’all are just contrarian a**&oles who want to be able to reap the benefits without any of the selflessness or care for your fellow man. Not very religious in any sense, but I’m sure it’s a profoundly held belief and not at all political. 🙄
Open your mind just a bit. I'm pro vax, but forcing vaccinations and mandating masks for those already vaccinated will slow, not speed up the recovery. It's simple-if you are scared, take the vaccine and if you believe they are effective then mind your own fn business.

its not a feeling…it’s my religious requirement. I wish I didn’t have to worry about it, but if I’m told to stay away from the unvaxxed by my god and scripture, what am I to do?

just out of curiosity what part of the covid vaccine is against your religion? I assume you have had other vaccines as part of your employment requirements?

So take the unpaid leave. Enjoy the holidays with your families and come back in the spring when they need you and either covid fear us subsided or they figure out the vaccine didnt work.
they didnt say you were fired.

I don’t think you read my post correctly. It is against my religion to sit next to someone who is unvaccinated.

I just feel really sorry for you, I can’t even begin to fathom how miserable your daily life has to be that you are actually getting enjoyment out of watching this unfold. Worse yet, you feel the need to pour salt on the wound of coworkers that are getting affected by this. My company doesn’t have such a mandate yet, but if that comes down that and I am fired, I will get over it and still be thankful for my life, my family and my home. You on the other hand, will still be miserable.

The whole discussion of religious objectors to vaccination reminds me of the religious conscientious objectors to the draft in Vietnam.

Seemed like it boiled down to 3 groups. There were the truly religious objectors, the objectors who magically became religious objectors the day they got their draft notice, and the third group who fled to Canada. I have yet to hear any pilots today in that third group.

Not trying to stir politics, this is an observation of history. History does repeat itself.
