Keen observation J. If you study our history it means:

1) Religion, as long as it’s MY Religion and it benefits me.
2) Democracy, as long as I’m in the majority.

These two postures can be applied anytime Religion and Government intermingle.

Religion, practiced correctly, is a very personal thing.
