What is religion if it isn't faith overriding reason? Isn't the mechanism by which wine becomes blood and bread becomes flesh the same as that which makes masks prevent covid?
It's time we start seeing this religion for what it is. I have no problem with good covid fearing folks. They're great people, mostly. But their ideology has no place in government.

That’s the part of religion and asking for an exemption that I’ll never understand. Making medical and major life decisions based on faith in a narrative completely void of hard evidence is difficult for me to grasp. I’m definitely not making fun of those who believe, it’s that I genuinely can’t comprehend faith without facts.

That was in response to someone saying if vaccines work why do I care if someone next to me isn't.
The tetanus booster is only 98%. So even wearing boots (really good protection) sometimes they get though. I've worked in machining and one did get through.
So, 98% on my feet isn't enough. I also want the floor as clear as possible. The unvaccinated people are the floor full of nails.
It's not a perfect metaphor because I can give the nail covered floor tetanus because my boots can be full of dirty nails. They aren't affecting me but I can still spread it around. So I want the floor protected as well.
It's off topic but the mandate is to give everyone the best level of protection GIVEN THE APPROVED MEDICATIONS.
If something else becomes approved they can roll that in as an option. Again, this thread is for religious exemption. Well, in this case no religious belief allows you the right to increase other peoples risk.

It’s not the responsibility of the unvaccinated to protect the vaccinated...
That’s the vaccine’s job

What about the asymptomatic dude shedding virus all over the cockpit. How do you handle that? Get your booster(s)!,,

Sadly the devout Covidians rule over us. Theirs is truly a religion, not based in science. The holy face garment has been scientifically proven to NOT STOP COVID yet the nation is speckled in mandates. There is no evidence that any of the restrictions worked, yet we're on our second wave of restrictions now.
What is religion if it isn't faith overriding reason? Isn't the mechanism by which wine becomes blood and bread becomes flesh the same as that which makes masks prevent covid?

I was going to say, "Thankfully the company is also interested in protecting the health of it's employees." But now that you formatted it to be red text I have to admit I've got no good answer.

I think United was Virtue Signaling to try to get back in the Asian market. I doubt that United cares about it’s employees to that extent. Didn’t they take away people’s pensions once or twice with big promises that turned to dust?
United still allows unvaccinated passengers in their terminals and in their airplanes. If they were really concerned about controlling the spread and protecting their employees they would not allow unvaccinated passengers to travel with them. Of course they wouldn’t do that because it makes no economic sense hence they’d risk the lives of all customer facing employees to sell seats.
Lord knows what kind of vaccine injuries have occurred that have not been reported to the employees. 67,000 jabs.. someone has had adverse effects...hence the recent pilot bulletin about pilot incapacitation that came out mid September. Your union will tell you nothing because they sold you out. I wonder what back room deal was made to get the union’s approval? If the pilots said no there would be no mandate.
Whatever happened to that ramp guy in LA that sent out an email over the ramp staff portal saying that he’s in the hospital from the jab?.. hope he is okay. It’s going to be a short staffed winter when the flu reappears and goes on a date with covid.
