Out of Base Pick Up

Yes it’s true . And completely depends on which scheduler you get , cause they aren’t all aware of it , it’s not a FAR thing it a contract or company thing maybe. ? Uncertain.
I have hung up called back and got the trip . Also depends how desperate they are . Lots of rules get tossed.
been successful many times less than 30 hours

And how is this undermining the contract again? Picking up out of base after 1300 or being able to get around a 30 hr rule that some people don’t always want?

Picking up out of base is allowed. Picking up with less than 30 hrs is not allowed, whether its wanted or not is irrelevant. Being able to pickup a trip you are not entitled to undermines the contract.
There are some contractual provisions that have prevented me from picking up some desirable trips but I did not try to circumvent them. Change the contract, don't go around it.

Try filing a PDR. I did an OOB pickup today and the scheduler checked that I had 30 hrs off scheduled... first time I can remember it being done. I searched the contract for a bit just now and didn't spot anything, if anyone can point out the relevant section I'd be obliged.

That’s what I thought, also if the segment is an FRMS leg a pilot can only pick up a trip if they reside on that coast. At least that’s what I’ve been told.
