I’m sure there’s an audience for this sort of thing, & I’d have to assume it falls largely along generational lines. At my age I don’t always play the dinosaur but this would definitely be one of those times. I’m not comfortable publicly affiliating with my employer in any higher profile setting than a small social gathering. I do not get this.

It’s definitely generational. Everyone is their own brand now. Get the views, likes, shares. Go viral. Get your self worth from complete strangers. Being reserved, humble, and understated do not fit into this new “look at me” culture. I blame the kardashians. Lol

A bigger problem is the lack of diversity in our social media brand representatives.

Can confirm. I overheard him discussing exactly this at TK. So for everyone in this thread that is getting their underwear in a twist over his harmless antics, I'm sure you'll be delighted to learn he gets paid for this as well.

Well it sounds stupid when you put it that way, and maybe it is. Social media as a whole is stupid. This forum is stupid. My life is a lot easier not particularly caring about any of it, and at the most participating only tangentially.
