Default Earlier class date?

I have a late June class date but would obviously like to start earlier. Would emailing hiring and advising them I would like to start ASAP be a waste of time? Is it common practice to move guys up if desired?

No
Not that it would hurt or hasn’t happened… but mostly doesn’t happen because there aren’t empty slots to fill.

Hello all! I'm coming from a Canadian Regional and just got my green card (will have SSN shortly) and looking to get some ducks in a row.

I have my ATP-CTP conversion course set for June and already had my university degree accredited. I have 3900TT, 1000TPIC on a CRJ200/900 (300 hours as a line training captain) and 1200TPIC on a DH8-100/300/Q400.

Looking to be based in LAX. Any recommendations on what I should do to get the majors to notice me?

Apply! Seriously those numbers and your instructor experience makes you very competitive. We are hiring pilots in the low 2,000 hour range no TPIC and no degree. The pilot shortage in the states is only getting worse. I predict we will be hiring 1500 pilots with next 18 to 24 months line they currently are at the LCC’s.

If you don’t hear anything within a couple weeks, see about attending a recruiting event

Default class date

Any unvaxed cjo candidates still waiting in limbo for a class date? seems they removed the vax requirement but still getting pushed to the back of the line, received cjo over a month ago and keep getting same answers from the recruiting email.

Hang in there… some further back CJO’s (November and Mid March) just getting classes assigned in the last couple of weeks.
