If by most you mean a majority ... from what I've very informally observed yes.

Maybe even an overwhelming majority.

What had been the class makeup? Healthy mix of LCC and RJ? How much turbine time, etc?

My class was about 40% LCC 40% Military, 20% corporate/RJ

Can’t speak to the turbine time

Of a group of 4 friends who have interviewed here recently, 1 got CJO 3 got TBNT. I know them all well and have worked closely with each of them and thought all 4 were the type of person and pilot United would like to employ.

tough to predict how interviews will go.

No idea

But I suspect the underlying applicant pool has shifted meaningfully over time. How? Idk. But you can’t strip mine an industry and leave the pool the same

Would you let your mom or dad on one of their aircraft?
How about your wife/husband.. your kids?
Would you be cool with them marrying one of your brothers or sisters?

If the answer (which I suspect) is YES!
Then we know where the problem lies.. and it ain’t on our side (the pilot group/union)~

Hopefully the other 3 are ok and get on with that one airline that seems to be blowing our doors away~

Did you give it a try? Anyone else?
May be worth a shot...

6/13 indoc

Thx again for all the posts & info.

Just got the CJO today, interviewed earlier this week. Excited to join the pilot group. Sounds like I should be seeing a late June class by the looks of it. Anyone know if they are still doing the mid June?
