I have the same question. Since apparently the United AirlineApps has been completely shut down (opened the site yesterday and under the United addendum it said "Position Currently Closed") I'm guessing they're sending out invites via the new system, but so far I haven't heard of anyone actually getting that invite. Up until last week, the invites were still going out via AirlineApps. Anybody out there get an invite via the new system? If so, was it via the same email system that they've used to send out previous update emails?

Same question! I was putting finishing touches on the airlineapps app for UAL when UAL was withdrawn from the site just before OBAP. I got most of my app into the new system before OBAP and submitted it after attending. Ive updated here and there since submitting and its a 50/50 chance whether I get an automated 'thank you for submitting your application' response after simply updating it. I never submitted an app through airlineapps so Im a pure 'new-system' guy.

On a separate note, has anyone registered for the LPA-UAL event in Orlando on Oct 1 but not received an actual invite yet?

Anyone else get the hogan via airline apps and received an email a few days later saying you need to fill out a new application in order to schedule the interview?

Same here. I also no longer receive the automated email from United either thanking you for starting a traditional application or for submitting an application after making any updates. The last time I received one of these automated emails was back on August 30 even though i have updated it about 5 times since then to included adding letters of rec.

Treat it the same way airline apps treated it. They are all separated.

PIC + Instructor + SIC + Dual Received should = Total Time

Hey all, I'm new to the forum but am in the same boat as most of you. Started with AirlineApps in August then transitioned over to United's organic app, submitted at the end of August and other than an automated receipt message nothing. I did however send an e-mail yesterday asking for clarification on PIC vs Instructor hours and just received this back:

"...if you have PIC/instructor hours, please include all those hours in the PIC section, and input instructor hours in that section. For example, if you have 450 PIC and 220 PIC/instructor hours, your PIC will be 670 and instructor 220."

I originally kept everything separate like on AirlineApps so here's hoping...

FWIW

Just updated my app based off that.

With the new application, I see there is a 1000 hour turbine time requirement. Has anyone had any luck applying with only 8-900 hour turbine (and over 2000 hours total) and getting a call back?

Thanks!
