I know they are finishing up the expansion of the E terminal, not sure how that is going to reshuffle the gates. But there are only 4 new ones, and E has been over crowded for a while now, so it may not change much of anything in the B/C terminal.

An mco/tpa base is a + or - $6400 a yr raise on every 100,000 in income vs a nj income tax for us. If you look at our investments in maintenance facilities down there, number of ops per day, and the potential serviceable southern destinations with an a321xlr it is all but inevitable. The LAS base is more tentative. I believe they are negotiating for a way to alleviate the staffing issues in sfo and lax to scare California out of their potential FA rest rules, CA sick policies, and other pro-labor laws.

The smart money is on MCO/TPA/(maybe) RSW codomicile. BWI/IAD is 57miles. Possibly tacking SAN On to LAX, which would make the top end very senior, and the bottom very junior (very difficult to sit junior reserve).
BOS is a very large and expensive spoke, but we’re pretty maxed out and there isn’t another airport to share the staffing.
We don’t have enough planes to grow our existing hubs, much less build new ones.
