Theres a leaked internal memo floating around that claims they’re deep in talks about bringing the -900 to UA.

In a memo sent to employees and provided to Reuters by the company, Mesa Air Group Chief Executive Jonathan Ornstein said the Arizona-based carrier is "finalizing a new agreement with United which would transition all CRJ900s currently flying for American Eagle to United Express."

Can’t afford it? That’s rich. 15,500+ pilots on the list and how many airplanes on order?

It would be horrible to see brother and sister pilots without airplanes to fly, but an expansion of scope isn’t gonna happen and United is rapidly building capacity.

That is pretty close to the plan. Planned obsolescence for Mesa I’m afraid. Hopefully we hire them all.

Never said it was true, just pointing out that is what Mesa is claiming.

It’s just SA. I’ve already mentioned to my reps that Scope is a non-starter for me. I don’t think it’s going to happen but it never hurts to keep your guard up.
