I see your point. Clearly there is no one right answer. That said, hopefully we’re not prepping food on the floor. There has to be more to the story. Either the pax wouldn’t clean it up, it wreaked to high heaven, the dog was sick…etc I’m no dog expert but the dog looks like it might have been sick.

can’t wait for the next loe scenario where we do a Medlink patch for a sick dog crapping in the galley. Lol.

Didn’t realize FAs prepared meals on the floor, now I’m really not going to eat the crew meals.

Seriously though, that’s a nasty situation, but paper towels+hazmat trash bag+a handful of the clean+ wipes that smell strong enough to kill anything… people track nasty stuff out of the lavs on the bottom of their shoes all flight long…

it looks like a clear-cut safety situation (health safety). Proximity to the lav notwithstanding, it’s impossible to claim that you took reasonable precautions for food hygiene if the galley floor is visibly covered in feces.

I would’ve turned around too.

I see some of y’all have never flown to Nigeria. People track human poo and pee out of the lavs every flight. They use toilets as bomb sights and miss frequently. It’s nasty. And regular.

I suppose having spent lots of time around domestic animals and small children has created a higher tolerance for the regimen of wearing gloves, wiping up, dousing with Clorox, and moving on.

That said I’m sure there was more to the story.

+1 to the post above mentioning this would be a great addition to upcoming LOE scenarios!

Well if you were on board, we’d have you go on all fours and lick it up with your mouth for the cleanup. You’re used to being full of ******* anyway.

Poor dog… it’s apparent from the excrement that they ate the food onboard.

[QUOTE=ObadiahDogberry;3591839]As far as what the dog owner is supposed do: A) Leave the dog at home, B) Drive, C) Have the dog in a crate and checked with the bags, D) Not have a dog. Any of those options is acceptable. No matter what, letting your big dog **** in the galley is not an acceptable option.

It was a service animal, not that what happened is cool, its just a different perspective as to why a large dog was onboard.
